Yay! Local home page image

Yay! Local’s website needed to serve two audiences: Clients – local business owners who are interested in advertising services, and Consumers – Triangle area residents who are looking for local coupons and giveaways.

Yay! Local’s management had selected a template for their website redesign when I joined the team, but once I took over the project I had to make significant changes to the styles, layouts, site organization, and other elements in order to more closely align the project with Yay! Local’s brand and objectives. Below are a few of the pages I created for the site.

Services Page

This page is one of the most important pages of the entire website, because it is the primary source of information describing the benefits and services they offer to potential clients.

Digital Coupon Page

A page on the Yay! Local website where consumers can find digital coupons for local businesses. The coupons are text searchable and can be filtered by category.

Direct Mail Map

Built with the Google Maps JavaScript API, this interactive direct mail zone map educates existing and prospective clients on direct mail options. Previously, the map was a static image, which made it difficult to determine exactly where the zone boundaries were located. Clients would frequently call looking for clarification regarding specific streets or neighborhoods, so I decided to create an interactive map to help clear up confusion.
